Veterans Affairs Medical Center
Attend a ceremony honoring veterans. Girl Scout Troop 100 begins the ceremony by leading the Pledge of Allegiance. Later, they will present a Little Free Library to the VA for veterans as part of their community Silver Project award.
Fayetteville Area Transportation and Local History Museum
Stroll the museum grounds filled with dozens of vintage and classic cars. Registration is required to be in the car show.

Our Veterans Day Parade this year will honor the Afghanistan veterans featuring the Grand Marshalls GEN (Ret) Dan K. McNeill and CSM (Ret) Steven R. England. Both of these patriots are veterans of the Afghanistan war.
Airborne & Special Operations Museum (ASOM)
Admission: $5 fee for flags in honor or in memoriam of a veteran
This is the 6th Annual Salute to Veterans Flag Ceremony to honor all veterans. Flags can be purchased in the museum’s Gift Shop. Each flag will be placed on the museum grounds from November 8 thru the 17th. An Opening Ceremony for the Salute to Veterans will take place on November 8th. Special guest speakers will include Paul Galloway, Executive Director of the ASOM Foundation.
