About the Homecoming

Coming November 8th - November 11th

Fort Bragg Communities of Cumberland County created HEROES HOMECOMING as a way of showing all veterans that we remember and appreciate their courage, their sacrifice and everything they’ve done to defend our freedom – now and forever. We have a unique bond with veterans, as our town was the point of departure and return for hundreds of thousands of soldiers.

Taking place Veterans Day weekend 2013, Heroes Homecoming III will feature 4 full days of events, exhibits, recognition ceremonies and entertainment designed to honor and pay tribute to the 5.7 million soldiers that participated in the Korean War. This year's celebration will also feature celebrity guests and special appearances by stars of the hit TV series MASH.
